Mamidikaya Pulihora (Mango Rice)
Recipe Description
Traditional and Delicious Rice made with Raw Mango.Main Ingredients
Rice and Raw MangoIngredients
- 2 cups Cooked rice
- 1 cup grated raw Mango(unripe Green Mango)
- 1 tbsp chana dal
- 1 tbsp mustard seeds
- 1/2 tbsp Cumin seeds
- 1 tbsp urad dal
- 3 tbsp Ground nuts
- Cashew Nuts
- 2 green chilies chopped lengthwise
- pinch Asafoetida
- 1/4 tbsp Turmeric
- Coriander Leaves
- Curry leaves
- 3 tbsp Oil
- Salt to taste
Preparation
- Heat the 3 spoons of oil in pan over medium heat.
- Place Green Mustrad seeds,Chana Dhal,Urad Dhal,Ground Nuts,Cashews,chilli pieces,Cummin seeds,Curry Leaves in oil fry it.
- place Asafoetida.
- Place Turmeric
- Place Grated raw Mango,salt fry it for 10min.
- Add cooked rice mix it well ,cook it for 5min
- Garnish with Coriander leaves
Tasty and yummy Mango Pulihora is ready to eat.
