Pudina Pulav / Mint Rice
Recipe Description
Delicious Rice with Mint Leaves and Coriander leaves.Main Ingredients
Rice and Mint LeavesIngredients
- 1 cup Mint/Pudhina Leaves chopped
- 1/2 cup Coriander chopped
- 1 cup Rice
- 1 big Onion chopped
- 1 big Tomato chopped
- 1 Green Chilli Chopped
- Bay leaves
- 1 tbsp Coconut
- 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic paste
- 2 Cloves
- 2 Cardamons
- Cinnamon
- 1/2 tbsp Fennel seeds
- Salt to taste
- Cashew Pieces(Optional)
- Turmeric
- Curry leaves
- Peanuts(Optional)
- 2 tbsp Ghee/Butter
Preparation
- Cut Onion in to Small pieces keep it aside.
- Grind Pudhina(Mint leaves),Coriander Leaves keep it aside.
- Heat the 5 spoons of oil in pan over medium heat.
- Place Green chilli pieces,Bay leaves,Cardamons,Cloves,Cummin seeds,Nutmeg in oil.
- place chopped Onion,little salt,curry leaves,Turmeric and cook until it turns to golden brown color.
- Place Ginger Garlic paste,Coconut paste fry untill turns Golden Brown Color
- Place Pudhina Paste which we prepared before,fry it untill raw smell disappears.
- Add 2 cups water boil it for 5 mins
- Add 1 cup rice,Salt,Cardamons cook it untill rice cooked properly
- Add 2 tbsp of Ghee.
- Garnish with Coriander leaves and Mint leaves.
Tasty Mint Rice ready to eat with Caurd raitha.

Pudina Pulav / Mint Rice was very nice , It was very tasty. The explanation of "how to prepare " and the photos are very good. It was convenient while preparing by following this site. I enjoyed with this delicious... food.
