Palakayalu (Crispy Spicy Rice Balls)

Tasty Timepass snack PalaKayalu made with Rice Powder.

Main Ingredients
Rice Powder
Ingredients


  • 1 cup Rice Powder
  • 2 tbsp Red Chilli powder
  • 1/2 tbsp Ginger Garlic paste (Optional)
  • 1 tbsp Curd
  • 1 tbsp Jeera/Cumin seeds
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • Water
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp Butter/Ghee
Preparation
  • Heat oil in a deep frying pan .
  • Mix Rice flour,Red Chilli Powder,Ginger Garlic Paste,Curd,Cumin seeds,Milk,Salt,Butter/Ghee to think Consistency,make sure dough should be think and it should form shape.
  • Take small piece of dough and make it in to small balls.
  • Test the temperature of the oil by dropping a small ball of dough into the oil and if it sinks to the bottom ,it means the oil isn’t hot enough.
  • If ball come up from bottom to top with bubbles then oil is ready to fry.
  • Once oil is ready drop small balls slowly in to oil,fry and stir it in low flame untill balls turns to Golden brown color and crispy.
Yummy Yummy spicy palakayalu is ready to eat and we can store it for 1 to 2 months.
